Hygiene and health
All our hygienists have completed two years of training at university dental schools to specialise in preventing and treating gum disease.
Heather has received further training as a dental therapist, which means she is also able to carry out other treatments, such as many types of fillings.
For the best preventive care, we recommend regular visits with a hygienist. They can act as your personal trainer, recommending the best diet and tooth brushing ‘home workout routine’ for you, and motivating and encouraging you to persevere with it.
We recommend two visits a year to the hygienist. Our 12-point dental health check includes assessing what is needed to keep your gums healthy. We would then provide advice on an individual basis.
We also stock a range of recommended toothbrushes.
